Paris And Caleb Stokes Migration

Think about all the stories you have just heard and read, what are your thoughts about the impacts these events have had on their lives - Write 4-5 sentences on a blog post.

the impacts of their lives were extremely bad because some had killed themselves and each other over it. families got split apart and parents lost their children we think that nobody should have been treated like that no matter your skin colour and where your from.

LVL 3
This one i copied and pasted and put in in my own words.

Classify plane shapes and prisms by their spatial features.
you will be able to define the characteristics of things and use these.
characteristics as a basis for sorting. Plane figures are those that lie flat,
so have only two dimensions. So circles, triangles, and hexagons are all plane shapes.
At Level Three students should be able to classify plane shapes by the following
characteristics: number of sides and angles (for example all triangles have three sides),
parallel or non-parallel sides (for example a trapezium has one pair of parallel sides),
equal or unequal side length, angle size (less than, equal to, greater than a right angle),
lines of mirror symmetry and order of rotational symmetry (for example a square maps
onto itself four times in a full turn).

This was hard to do in a short period of time. Me and my group had a ruff time doing this
because they let me in when they were half way done with this. But i still tried and did two
topics for them i left two groups because they did nothing when i was with them they
would just watch youtube.

You can rotate the star and it will turn around.
It will be the same shape but it
Just turned a little.

enlargement.

Under positive enlargement angles and orientation do not change but lengths and areas do.

LVL 5similar triangles.

Given similar right angled triangles the ratios of side lengths are the same, like this one.

For both triangles the ratio of the sides opposite and adjacent to angle A is 6/8 = 0.75
For any similar triangle this is also true. This ratio is the tangent of angle A, so A = 37°.

Naturalistic Intelligence

One of the challenges in this activity is to understand what is meant by contours . Contours on a map are lines that show areas of the same height. Even with this information it can be difficult for the students to imagine the terrain by simply looking at a map and mentally processing the numbers. In this situation, the students can learn a lot by generating a profile of the ocean floor using the “cross section” method.
If you want to do this first you need to draw a set of axes. Let the x axis represent horizontal distance and the y axis vertical elevation. The scale used for the axes must be the same as that used on the map, that is, 1 centimetre represents 10 kilometres on the horizontal. For the vertical scale, make 1 centimetre represent 1 000 metres.
Ocean floor contours, axes only:

contour lines.

This Map has places where the treasure might be found, follow and conquer the map
May the adventure be wild!!!

Take a 120 km drive, North east with a golf cart to lazy links and find a shovel hinden in a small gazebo once you got the shovel make your way to the next destination.

Now you have one of the tools you will need, You need to ditch your golf cart and start walking 20 km, South West to the wet, Loot lake and the 3 story house in the middle of the lake use a boat to get their and Inside the house You will find a wheelbarrow to carry the treasure in side.

Then take the boat to ride south to a pit of grass

Today in maths we have been learning how to do  Bodily-Kinesthetic Intelligence. bye using our body to do shapes.
it was pritty hard because we were not used to the topic but we still managed do finished it.

we could have done more but we could not have done outer shapes e.g hexagon Pentagon so we stooped there.

Tomorrow when the war began Questions

22,08,2018

Tomorrow when the war began: chapter twelve.

1) They say teenagers can sleep all day is that true? Do you agree does Ellie still see herself as a typical teenagers?
I think Ellie’s statement is true because  teenagers can sleep all day. They can sleep as long as they wont too.
2) Ellie dream at the beginning of the c hapter is rather nonsensical, as dreams are wont to be. Is there any meaning? to it? Try and explain what Ellie subconscious could be thinking about: why is her dad cooking for the whole town? Why did farther cronin ignore Ellie greeting? Why was corrie 8 years old again? Why were they sailing off the boat?why was lee undressing.
He could be cooking for the town because when the war begin it bort the town together . And she could have been dreaming that the town is her whole family.
She was dreaming that corrie was 8 years old because they did not have to worry about the war and he trying to be happy again. They were on the boat because they want to go to safety. Lee was undressing because she wants to get her feelings out for him.

Select two of the following tasks to complete and post to your blog…

  1. MUSICAL- When back in Hell it is important for the teenagers to relax and recuperate. Create a playlist of songs for one of the characters that you think would suit their personality. Give a reason for each song choice and a link for your viewers to go and listen to it.
  2. VOCABULARY - Find the meanings of the following words, write the meaning using your own words. Manoeuvre, Inconspicuous, Surreptitious, Evasion, Impenetrable, Patriotic, Reconnaissance, Inaccessible, Gaunt, Conscript
  3. WRITING - Chris fell asleep on sentry duty. Rewrite an ending to this event where the teenagers are found by the invaders. Whose point of view are you writing from? What happens? How do they react/feel?
  4. CREATE- Create a poem based on an event in the story so far. Draw in your reader by using poetic language, metaphors, similes and engaging vocabulary. Aim for 10-20 lines...
Chapter 15
What is it that ellie and lee find in the hermits that the others dont know about? And a chest Pictures and   notes and a mettle
According to the  coroners report what are the 2 possible ways the hermits family died?
  1. That they go burnt in bush fire and got shot to get put out of there pain
  2. He shot them and burnt them by a bushfire

Which do you believe and why?

I'm going with number two because that will enplane the ashes.

chapter sixteen
what is the hermits mother in law attitude toward him as seen in her letter? good and a little bit confused
what does this suggest about the way in which the hermits family actually died? if he killed them and then beret them or put them out of pain and shot them for the best
what makes ellie change her mind about lee on the way back from the hermits hut? they had a kiss and she liked it so that made her change her mind
